‘Everlasting’  was written especially for my ‘Fancy A Quickie 3’

play festival.  It was on along with 7 other ‘new plays’ of mine that were performed in

Griffith NSW in 2013.

It’s always nice getting feedback from producers and here’s what I was sent about ‘Catastrophe’

‘Our two shows which featured Catastrophe went down
really well with both audiences. Nice amount of laughter
and nods of acknowledgment (“I thought so”) when they
realised Sue had been having murderous intentions towards
the cat for years. Thank you so much for allowing us to put
your play (let) on, we enjoyed performing it very much.’

DSCF5944 I enrolled in an acting course.  It’s absolutely beneficial if you’re serious about writing and directing. I have gained so much knowledge and will put the course material to good use.

TROPFEST 2013!

by DonatellaParise

DSCF8435 What a wonderful experience yet again!  We literally got this short film done in two weeks.  I adapted the stage play for screen.  Paul Barlow filmed and edited the short and Rachel Stocks and Douglas Ridgewell starred in it.  There were a few behind the scenes personnel. My son, my husband, daughter, Janine and others.  Whatever happens from now on is irrelevant, we can say we did it!  They will announce the short list on 14th Febrary 2013

A play life, death and an opportunity of a lifetime.  ‘Everlasting’ is a new script and was first produced in ‘Fancy a Quickie 3’.  I am extremely happy that it’s been selected in Short and Sweet, Sydney and will be performed February 16th and 17th.

Bite Size Theatre Company produced my 10 minute play ‘Catastrophe’ in August 2012 at the Edinburgh Festival.

It was great feeling to be nominated for ‘Best Original Work’ for my scripts in ‘Fancy A Quickie 3’.  The CAT Awards (ACTEWAGL) are pretty prestigious and it’s wonderful to have been nominated.  The Awards night is on 16th February 2013.
